I remember i went to Venice for a week one summer with a buddy of mine. Me and him really dont hang out much but when we do we have good times! but any way i remember every night around midnight i would leave my room and take my little short board cruiser and ride it all the way past Santa Monica. I know that it was hella sketchy but i wasnt even afraid. i enjoyed that fact that i was in a new place and experiencing new things for my self. I would just cruise right through the streets and listen to the drunks pour out of the bars and the crash of braking glass and for some strange reason it was the most peaceful thing i have ever experienced. when i wanted to stop for i bit i would go right to the beach and walk out to the ocean and sit down and just relax. The simple moments that you can look back on and not really tell a story that would keep most people interested but you love to remember them, are my favorites.
